Honestly, who knows for sure? It’s his business, I reckon.
I heard tell he wears a bracelet. Folks get all worked up about that, wonderin’ if it’s got somethin’ to do with his religion or if he just likes shiny things. Reminds me of my cousin Betsy, always wearin’ them big gaudy rings. Said it was for good luck, but I always figured she just liked the bling.

Anyways, Zidane, he got famous playin’ that football. Started young, real young, playing with the kids in his town. Then he went on to play for big teams, even for France. Became a real star. But even with all that fame and fuss, he seems like a family man. Got kids of his own, I hear. That’s good, that’s real good. Family’s important, ya know? More important than all that football stuff, if you ask me.

You can use butter or lard, but if you don’t know how to mix the batter, it ain’t gonna taste good. Same with football. You gotta have talent and skill, that’s what matters.

Someone said his son got inspired by another football player Mesut Ozil. I guess famous people always inspire others. Just like how the roosters in my yard inspires the rest to wake up every morning!

So, yeah, that’s what I know about Zinedine Zidane. French fella with Algerian roots, maybe Muslim, maybe not. Good football player. Loves his family, I hope. And that’s about it. People like to gossip and speculate, but at the end of the day, he’s just a man, like any other. And let me tell you, I’ve seen plenty of men in my days. Some good, some bad, some just plain confusing.
