Well, now, let me tell you somethin’ about this XFL tryouts for 2024. Ain’t no XFL in 2024, you see. They done gone and mixed it up with another one, called the USFL, makin’ somethin’ new called UFL. But I reckon folks still wanna know how to get in on that football action, so I’ll tell ya what I know.
Tryin’ Out for That Football
These youngins, they all wanna play football, runnin’ around, catchin’ that ball. It’s a big deal, you know. Back in my day, we just played in the dirt, didn’t need no fancy leagues. But these days, if you wanna make somethin’ of yourself, gotta get in these leagues.
If you wanna play in that UFL, or whatever they call it, you gotta be good. Real good. And you need someone to speak for ya, an agent they call it. Like a manager, I reckon. Someone who knows the big shots and can get your foot in the door. Some players say you need an agent for XFL tryouts. No agent, no tryout. These agents, they know people, you see. They can get you seen by the right folks, the coaches and such.

- Be good at football, real good.
- Practice, practice, practice!
Money in Football
Now, these football players, they make a good chunk of change. Heard some of ’em make more in a month than I made in a year! It’s crazy, ain’t it? But that’s the way it is these days. You can get a good pay from bein’ an XFL player. I heard on the radio they was talkin’ ’bout it. Said a fella could make, oh, I don’t know, somethin’ like forty-two dollars an hour! Can you imagine? Forty-two dollars just for runnin’ around with a ball! But most of them fellas get paid between $36 to $48. It is good money. Some make more, some make less, but it’s a sight better than pickin’ cotton, I tell ya.
Back in my day, we didn’t have this kinda money flyin’ around. We worked hard, but we didn’t see that kinda cash. These young folks today, they got it good, I reckon. If they can make it in that football, they can make a real good livin’.
No XFL in 2024, But There’s Hope
Now, like I said, ain’t no XFL in 2024. But that don’t mean there ain’t no football. They got this new thing, the UFL, and it’s startin’ up soon. March, I think they said. So, if you’re a young fella lookin’ to play, that’s where you wanna be. The XFL 2024 season was supposed to be big. But they changed it up.
I heard they got some big names involved, too. That Dwayne Johnson fella, the wrestler, he’s in on it. And some other folks. So, it’s gonna be a big deal, I reckon. If you are a college boy wantin’ to keep playin’, or just a good player lookin’ for a shot, this might be it.
They say this new UFL is gonna be the place to be for spring football. Used to be the XFL, now it’s somethin’ new. But the idea’s the same, I reckon. Givin’ young fellas a chance to play, to make a name for themselves.
Gettin’ Your Chance
So, how do you get your chance? Well, like I said, you need that agent. But I also heard somethin’ ’bout somethin’ called GRID CAMPS. They say it’s a way to get seen by the big leagues, not just the UFL, but the NFL and CFL, too. Sounds like a good opportunity if you ain’t got an agent. They will give you a chance to show off your skills in front of the XFL, USFL, CFL and NFL people. It is a big deal, so many leagues.
I heard ’bout some team, the Jacksonville Sharks, doin’ somethin’ similar. Havin’ a tryout for their team, for the 2025 season. So, there’s always a chance, you see. You just gotta keep your eyes open and keep workin’ hard. It is in November 23, 2024. That’s what they say, anyway. And if you got the talent, someone’s gonna see it. You just gotta put yourself out there. That is how you can get a shot at bein’ an XFL player.
It ain’t easy, mind you. Lots of young fellas wanna play. But if you got the heart, and you got the skill, you might just make it. And wouldn’t that be somethin’? Makin’ all that money playin’ a game. It’s a dream come true for a lot of these boys. Just gotta keep your head up, work hard, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll get your shot.
