Well, let me tell ya, there’s been a whole lot of wrestlers in WWE getting hurt lately, and folks been talkin’ about it everywhere. Injuries happen all the time in the ring, and it’s not just the rookies that suffer, but even the big names too. It’s like that old saying, ‘If ya play hard, ya gonna get hurt sooner or later.’
Now, if you been watchin’ WWE recently, you might’ve heard about Randy Orton. Poor fella’s been at it for years, and just when you think he can’t be stopped, bam! He gets hurt bad. It happened after Kevin Owens executed a move called a piledriver. Now, they don’t let folks do that move much anymore, since it’s so dangerous. Well, that’s what caused Randy to suffer a spinal injury. They even went ahead and told everyone on social media, talkin’ about how he’s out for a bit while he recovers. That’s a tough one, folks, real tough.
And then there’s Braun Strowman. This big fella, he’s built like a truck, but even trucks break down. Back on September 30th, during WWE RAW, ol’ Braun tore his groin. Now, I ain’t no doctor, but I hear that’s gotta hurt like the dickens. The good news, though, is that he’s on the mend now. He’s been givin’ updates, talkin’ about how he’s doin’ a little better each day. You just gotta hope he can get back in the ring soon ’cause he’s a big part of the show, and WWE’s just not the same without him.
But, injuries aren’t just happenin’ to the big guys. It happens across the board. Even the young ones get hurt, like they did in some studies I read about. They say, for every 1,000 wrestlers, there’s about 6 to 7 injuries in the younger crowd, but in the older group, it’s way worse—about 30 injuries per 1,000 wrestlers! That’s a lot of hurtin’ folks right there. Most of the time, it’s sprains and strains, but you get fractures and cuts too. The rougher the match, the higher the chances of getting hurt. Ain’t nobody’s body built to take the kind of punishment these wrestlers go through. That’s why it’s important for ’em to take care of themselves when they can.
Then there’s Kairi Sane. She’s a tough lady, no doubt, but even she got a little too much action one night. Back in September, she had a bad fall during RAW that left her bloody and hurt. I reckon she was out for a spell after that, but I’m sure she’s back to workin’ on recoverin’. These things happen fast in the ring. One minute, you’re doin’ fine, and the next, you’re down on the mat, wishin’ you had done somethin’ different. It’s a dangerous business, and you gotta keep your head on straight.
We can’t forget about AJ Styles, neither. Folks been talkin’ about him too. Some say he’s gettin’ ready to go on a farewell tour, seein’ as his contract might be up early next year. He’s been a big name for a long time, and when a guy like AJ talks about hangin’ up his boots, you know it’s serious. But don’t go thinkin’ he’s done just yet. Before he calls it quits, I reckon he’s got a few more rounds in him. The thing is, if he’s got any injuries, he ain’t letting on. He’s keeping his updates to himself for now, just like most of them do.
All these updates and injuries make ya realize just how dangerous WWE can be, even if they make it look easy. Those wrestlers take a whole lot of hits, and I don’t think people always understand how much pain they’re in after the bell rings. It ain’t just about the moves they do in the ring; it’s about how they recover, how they heal up, and how they get back to doing what they love. Sometimes, they’re out for a while, sometimes they come back quick. But no matter what, we’ll always be watchin’ to see what happens next.
So, what do we expect next? Well, the updates keep comin’ in, and the wrestlers keep on fightin’. Injuries will happen, but I reckon they’ll all get back at it when they can. So keep watchin’, folks, and stay tuned to see when your favorite wrestler is back on the mat again. We all know in WWE, it’s never over till it’s over, and these folks, they just don’t know how to quit.
