Okay, so, about this “Spectro Rover” thing in Wuthering Waves, or WuWa as some folks call it, I finally got around to trying it out. Let me tell you, it’s been a ride.
First off, I started the game and, you know, you’re given this main character, Rover. It wields a sword, pretty basic stuff. But then, I got to this part, Main Quest, Chapter I: Act VII, or something like that, and boom, I can turn my Rover into a Spectro user. They call it “Spectro Rover”. The whole reveal of Rover being an Arbiter, or something like that, is kind of a big deal in the game.
So, I switched to Spectro and started messing around. The attacks, they’re kind of cool, you can do up to 4 consecutive attacks, dealing what they call “Spectro DMG”. And if you keep going after the third hit, or use what they call a “Heavy Attack,” you consume Stamina to deal even more Spectro DMG. It felt pretty powerful, I won’t lie.
Now, I heard some people online saying that the Havoc version of Rover deals more damage, especially with its ultimate skill. But the Spectro one felt more, I don’t know, sturdy? I think it’s because it’s got better defense, at least that’s what I read somewhere. Plus, people say it’s good as a “sub DPS,” which I guess means it’s not the main damage dealer but still useful. I could see that, especially in those “quick swap” teams where you switch characters a lot.
I spent some time figuring out the best way to use Spectro Rover. It’s not like those characters who are always on the field, doing their thing. With Spectro Rover, you want to swap it in, do some damage, and then swap it out for someone else. It’s like a team effort, you know?
I also tried different weapons and these things called “echoes” on my Spectro Rover. There’s a lot of stuff to experiment with, and honestly, I’m still figuring out what works best. But it’s been fun, just trying out different combinations and seeing how it changes the gameplay.
My Experience
- Started the game as usual.
- Progressed to Chapter I: Act VII.
- Unlocked Spectro Rover.
- Experimented with attacks and combos.
- Compared it with Havoc Rover, noticing the differences in playstyle.
- Tried different team compositions, focusing on quick swaps.
- Explored various weapons and echo sets to see what works best.
Overall, messing with Spectro Rover has been a blast. It’s not just about dealing damage, it’s about finding the right rhythm, the right team, the right gear. There’s still a lot for me to learn, but that’s part of the fun, right? I’ll keep playing around with it, and who knows, maybe I’ll find some secret OP build that no one’s discovered yet. That would be pretty sweet, wouldn’t it?
