Finding That Old Leaderboard
Okay, so the other day, I got it in my head that I wanted to see the final results for the Arnold Palmer Invitational back in 2022. Can’t remember why, maybe just thinking about past tournaments. Anyway, I needed that leaderboard.

First thing I did, naturally, was just jump on the computer and start searching. Typed in a few things, you know, stuff like:
- arnold palmer invitational 2022 results
- api 2022 leaderboard
- who won arnold palmer 2022
You get the usual flood of results. Some news articles popped up right away, talking about the winner and the final round drama. I clicked on a couple of those first. They gave the basic story, sure, mentioned Scottie Scheffler winning, which I kinda remembered, but I wanted the full list, the whole leaderboard rundown, score by score.
Digging a Bit Deeper
So, I skipped past some of the news recap articles. Looked for something that looked more official, like the PGA Tour’s own site or maybe a big sports network place, like ESPN or CBS Sports. Those usually keep good archives.
Found a link that looked promising, I think it was the official tour site. Had to click around a bit once I got there. You know how these sites are, sometimes stuff isn’t right on the front page, especially for older events. Went to their schedule section, then had to find the archive or past results part. Found the 2022 season, then looked for the Arnold Palmer Invitational specifically.
Finally got there. Took a few clicks, but up popped the full leaderboard. All the players, their scores for each round, the total, everything. Just what I was looking for.

Saw Scheffler at the top, yeah. Then scanned down the list, saw guys like Hovland, Horschel, Gooch pretty high up too. It’s funny how you forget the exact order just a year or two later. Spent a few minutes just looking over the scores, seeing who finished where.
So yeah, that was the process. Bit of searching, clicking through a site or two, but got the info in the end. Wasn’t too hard, just took a minute to navigate the site archives. Got the job done.
