Okay, so I wanted to mess around with the Sierra Canyon logo. You know, the one for that school with all the famous basketball players’ kids?

First, I needed to find the actual logo. I just did a quick search and boom, there it was. Plenty of images popped up, so I grabbed one that looked pretty clean and high-quality.
Then, I wanted to play with the colors. I’m not a graphic designer or anything, but I figured I could tweak it a bit. I opened up a basic image editing program – nothing fancy, just something I had on my computer.
- I used the color picker tool to grab the original colors. You know, that eyedropper thing.
- Then, I messed with the hue and saturation sliders. It was all trial and error. I went for some bolder colors, some more muted ones, just to see what looked cool.
Playing Around with Variations
I duplicated the logo a few times so I could have a bunch of different versions. I tried making it all black and white, which looked pretty sharp. Then I did one with a gradient, just for kicks. It was kind of cheesy, but hey, I was just experimenting.
I even tried adding some text underneath, like “Trailblazers” or something, but it didn’t really fit. I’m not great with fonts, so I just scrapped that idea.
Finally, I saved all my different versions. Now I’ve got a whole collection of Sierra Canyon logo variations, just from messing around for an hour or so. It’s not professional-grade or anything, but it was a fun little project!
