So, I caught some of the Celebrity All-Star Game the other day. Always a bit of fun, seeing famous folks trying to hoop. After it was over, I got curious, you know? Like, who actually scored what? It’s one thing to watch them run around, but I wanted to see the actual numbers, the box score.

Figured it’d be easy. Just pop online and search “celebrity all star game box score”. Well, wasn’t quite that simple. My usual sports sites? Some had highlights, some had articles talking about the MVP, but a proper box score, like you get for a real NBA game? Took a bit more digging.
Finding the Dang Thing
I clicked around a few places. Some fan forums had bits and pieces, people arguing about who played well. But I wanted the official-ish breakdown. Points, rebounds, assists… the whole shebang. You know how it is, sometimes you just gotta see the raw data.
Eventually, I landed on a page, I think it was one of the big sports network sites, buried kinda deep, that had a table. Looked like a proper box score. Finally!
What I Noticed Looking at the Stats
So I scanned through the names and numbers. It’s always funny comparing it to the pros.

- You see some folks actually put up decent points! Was surprised by a couple of names hitting double figures. Didn’t expect that from them based on their day jobs, you know?
- Then you got others… well, let’s just say their contribution was more about participation. A point here, maybe a rebound there. Clearly just out there having a good time, which is the point, I guess.
- The shooting percentages are always a laugh. Let’s just say efficiency isn’t the main goal here. Lots of shots, not always lots of makes.
- Turnovers? Yeah, usually plenty of those too. It’s not exactly the smoothest basketball you’ll ever see.
Overall Thoughts
Looking at the box score kind of confirmed what I saw watching. A few people taking it semi-seriously, trying to score, and a lot of others just enjoying the experience. It’s less about the stats and more about the spectacle, right? Still, it was interesting to satisfy my curiosity and see the actual numbers laid out. Sometimes you just need to know.
