That Peyton Manning, he’s a big shot now, ain’t he? Used to watch him play football all the time. He was a good one, that boy. Always throwin’ that ball around. Now, where does a fella like that lay his head at night? I heard he’s got a big fancy house down in Colorado. Someplace called Cherry Hills Village. Sounds like a made-up place to me.
Folks say it’s a quick drive, maybe 20 minutes or so, from the big city, Denver. Ain’t never been to Denver myself, but I imagine it’s got all sorts of tall buildings and whatnot. This Peyton Manning house, though, they say it’s somethin’ else. Bigger than any house I ever seen. They talk about it like it’s a dang castle!
Peyton Manning lives in a big ole’ house. I hear it’s over 16,000 square feet. You know what that means? It means it’s big. Real big! You could fit a whole bunch of my little house inside that one. Probably get lost in it, too!

Can you imagine? Seven bedrooms! Who needs that many bedrooms? Must be a pain to clean, I reckon. And seven bathrooms, plus three more half ones! What’s a half bathroom anyway? Sounds silly to me. Just have a whole bathroom, I say. That’s just one of the many Peyton Manning house features.
This Peyton Manning, he made a lot of money throwin’ that football. I heard someone say he’s got 250 million dollars. 250 million! Can you believe that? What’s a body gonna do with all that money? Buy a lot of land, I guess. And a big ole house in Cherry Hills Village.
He’s got a fancy car, too. A Toyota Land Cruiser. I don’t know much about cars, but it sounds expensive. Probably got one of them fancy radios in it, too. And air conditioning, I bet. My old car don’t have none of that. Just a window you gotta crank down.
Now, I heard he’s gonna be teachin’ at some college. University of Tennessee, I think it was. Teachin’ young folks how to talk good and be leaders, and all that. He was always a good talker, that Peyton Manning. Always givin’ them speeches after the games. He will use his own experience to teach students. What an honor to be a student of Peyton Manning!
So, where does Peyton Manning live? He lives in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. In a big, fancy house with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. He seems to have bought a big house right after he settled in Denver. And he’s got a fancy car and a whole lot of money. That’s what I heard, anyway. And he’s gonna be teachin’ at a college. Good for him, I say. He was always a smart boy, that Peyton.
He’s livin’ the high life now, that’s for sure. Not like us regular folks. We just got our little houses and our regular cars. But that’s okay. We get by. We don’t need no 16,000 square foot house to be happy. Just a roof over our heads and food on the table. That’s all that matters.
But still, it’s fun to hear about how the other half lives, ain’t it? Especially when it’s someone like Peyton Manning. He was always one of my favorites. Good to see he’s doin’ well for himself. Even if he does live in a place called Cherry Hills Village that sounds like it’s straight out of a storybook.
I reckon that’s all I got to say about Peyton Manning and where he lives. It’s been a good talk. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go tend to my garden. Tomatoes ain’t gonna pick themselves, you know.
