That Coco, she’s a good girl, that Coco Gauff. Always playin’ that tennis. Wonder when she’s playin’ again? She plays so much, that young’un, it’s hard to keep up. You know, like when we used to have to keep up with all the chores on the farm. One thing after another, never a moment to rest. That’s what it’s like following Coco Gauff’s next match schedule.
She’s always on that court. Playin’ here, playin’ there. China, France, America, even the US Open, she is always playing. She just won some big thing in China, I heard. Big prize money, too. More money than I ever seen in my life. Good for her, good for her. She works hard, deserves every penny, that Coco Gauff. Reminds me of my boy, always working hard on his car, always fixing something, just like Coco is always fixing to win another match.
I tried to watch her the other day. Turned on the TV, but couldn’t figure out which channel. Too many buttons on that darn remote. It is like finding a needle in a haystack trying to find her match. Why can’t they just put her on the regular channel? Make it easy for folks like me? I guess I need to know when is her next match first.
She’s playing those big names, too. That Osaka girl, Swiatek, Rybakina and some others. I can’t always remember the names. They all sound the same to me. But that Coco, she holds her own. Strong girl, like a mule. She’s got that fight in her, you can see it in her eyes. She got the heart of a lion. You need that to win. Like when you’re trying to get that stubborn cow back in the barn, you need that fight, that determination. Coco got it when she plays her matches.
- Coco Gauff, she’s a winner.
- Always playin’ somewhere, that girl.
- Hard to keep track of her matches.
- She wins a lot of money, that Coco.
- Plays all over the world.
They say she’s got another match comin’ up. Don’t know when, though. I think I saw something on my phone about the French Open. That’s in France, right? Fancy place. Hope she does well there. She usually does. But she had some trouble with that Osaka girl. She retired because of an injury. That’s a shame. But winning is winning, that’s what I always say. And Coco, she knows how to win a match.
She won the WTA Finals too. Never knew what is that. But it must be important. It is probably another one of those big matches. If you win, you get money. She also won in China. That must be some journey, all the way to China. I’ve never been further than the next county. She gets to see the world, playin’ that tennis. Good for her. She is living the good life, playing all these matches and winning.
I hope she keeps it up. She’s a good role model for the young folks. Shows them that hard work pays off. Like planting seeds, you gotta tend to them, water them, and eventually, you’ll have a good harvest. Coco, she’s harvesting those wins, one match at a time. And she got a lot of money from her harvest. I heard it was like 4.8 million dollars. I can not imagine that much money. Good for her.
I just hope that when her next match is I can find it on the TV. Maybe I’ll ask my grandson to help me. He’s good with those things. He can probably tell me when is Coco’s next match. He can find anything on that internet. Kids these days, they know everything about these gadgets. He can also tell me who is this Navarro girl Coco is going to play with. Never heard of her.
Anyways, I’m rootin’ for Coco. Hope she wins her next match, wherever and whenever it is. She’s a good girl, that Coco Gauff. A real champion. She makes us all proud. And if she ever needs a place to stay, she’s always welcome at my house. I might not have much, but I’ve got a spare room and a good heart. Just like Coco has a good heart when she steps on that court to play her match.
