Oh boy, do I have a story for you guys today! It all started when I stumbled upon this “Monumental Study” quest. The name itself sounded pretty serious, right? So, I dove right in, thinking I was in for some Indiana Jones type of adventure. And let me tell you, it kinda was!
The first thing I did was to find this character named Sosi. This guy gave me a note, and this note was supposed to help me find some missing pieces of an old monument. It was like a treasure hunt, except instead of gold, I was looking for old rocks.
The Search Begins
The quest name was “In Pursuit of the Lost Inscription,” which, honestly, sounds way cooler than what I was actually doing. I felt a bit of an explorer, to be honest with you.
- First Fragment: I went to where the note hinted the first fragment might be. It wasn’t just lying around, mind you. I had to do a bit of climbing and solve a little puzzle before I could get my hands on it.
- More Fragments: After that, it was a wild goose chase all over the place. Each fragment had its own little challenge. One was hidden behind some vines, and another one had one of those puzzle games. I won the game four times and one step got auto-completed! These puzzles are tricky though.
- Back to Sosi: Once I got all the fragments—and let me tell you, it took a while—I went back to Sosi. I was feeling pretty proud of myself at this point. I mean, who wouldn’t be? I practically rebuilt this ancient monument!
Putting the Pieces Together
Turns out, collecting the fragments was just the first part. I then had to put them back in their original spots to fix the inscription. It was a bit like doing a giant, stone jigsaw puzzle. But hey, I managed to do it! And when I did, boom! The inscription was restored, just like new. There were three seals and I had to remove the first seal using three Inscriptions of Remembrance.
In the end, I got to say, it was a pretty fun adventure, despite it’s a bit tedious sometimes. I got to explore some cool places, solve some puzzles, and learn a bit about the history of this in-game world. Plus, I got a cool story to share with you all!
