My Run Through Monopoly Go’s Habitat Heroes Event
Alright, so I jumped into Monopoly Go the other day and saw this new event, “Habitat Heroes,” pop up. Looked interesting enough, themed around nature and animals, I guess. Decided to give it a go, see what it was all about.

First thing I noticed was you needed to collect these specific tokens. Can’t remember exactly what they looked like, maybe little green sprouts or animal footprints? Anyway, they were scattered around the board, mostly on the Chance, Community Chest, and Railroad tiles, like usual for these kinds of events. You land there, you get points or tokens towards the event progress bar.
So, I started rolling. You know how it is, sometimes you hit the right spots straight away, other times you just keep landing on taxes or Go To Jail. Frustrating! Needed quite a few of those tokens to hit the first milestone. The rewards early on were the standard stuff: a bit of in-game cash, some dice rolls. Always useful, keeps you playing.
The Grind Begins
After the first few easy levels, it definitely started to feel like a bit of a grind. The number of tokens needed for each milestone kept going up, naturally. I burned through a good chunk of my saved-up dice just trying to land on those specific tiles. Had a few lucky streaks where I hit railroads back-to-back, which helped rack up points quickly, especially during the high roller multiplier. But then, inevitably, I’d hit a dry spell.
I focused on trying to complete the milestones one by one. The process looked something like this:

- Check how many points needed for the next reward.
- Decide on a dice multiplier – gotta risk it sometimes, right?
- Roll the dice and hope for the best.
- Land on a target tile? Great, collect tokens!
- Miss? Well, try again. Maybe collect some rent or shields along the way.
- Run low on dice? Wait for the timer or hope for a reward that gives more rolls.
It’s that classic Monopoly Go loop. This Habitat Heroes event wasn’t wildly different in mechanics from others, just a different theme and different specific rewards. I remember getting a decent chunk of dice at one point, which really helped push me further. There might have been a unique shield skin or player token in there too, can’t quite recall the specifics now, but usually, they throw something cosmetic in.
Hitting the Wall (Almost)
There was definitely a point where I thought I wouldn’t finish it, or at least get to the final big reward. Needed a huge number of tokens for the last couple of stages. Considered just stopping, but I’d already put in a fair bit of time (and dice!). So, I just kept chipping away whenever I had rolls regenerated. Slow and steady.
Finally managed to land on the last few required spots. Watching that progress bar fill up for the final time was pretty satisfying, not gonna lie. The end reward was pretty substantial, a good pile of dice and a bunch of cash, maybe one of those sticker packs too. Always chasing those stickers.
So yeah, that was my experience with the Habitat Heroes event. It was pretty standard fare for Monopoly Go events – collect tokens, hit milestones, get rewards. Took some time, took some dice, had its frustrating moments, but got through it in the end. Onto the next one, I suppose!
