So, I was thinking about the good old days, you know, back in the 2000s when PC gaming was really taking off. I decided to dig into it and figure out what were the best PC games of that era.
First, I started by just thinking about my own experiences. What games did I spend hours playing? Which ones did I keep coming back to? I remembered games like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic being a big deal for me. I put in so many hours, I lost count!
Then I figured I should see what other people thought. I hit up some forums and read some articles, you know, from places like GameSpy. They had their own lists of top games, and it was cool to see how their picks matched up with my memories.
I noticed that everyone was talking about how groundbreaking some of these games were. Shooters like Deus Ex, for example. That game had so much going on. I recalled I have tried once, it was so fun.
RPGs were huge too, and people were still talking about them like they were brand new. It’s wild how some games just stick with you, right?
After gathering all this info, I started making my own list. I put Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on there, no doubt. Deus Ex also made the list, that game was awesome. Some people are still longing for that era of nostalgia.
It was a bit of a trip down memory lane, putting this list together. It made me want to go back and play some of these classics again. It’s amazing how much gaming has changed since then, but these games from the 2000s, man, they really hold up.
My Top Pick from 2000s:
- Deus Ex (2000)
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003)
I spent a good chunk of time on this little project, and it was totally worth it. It’s like, these games were a big part of my life back then, and it was fun to revisit them and see why they were so special. I guess that’s it, the results are all in there. It was a blast from the past, for sure!
