Alright, let’s talk about this Kyrie fella and how many games he played for Duke. You know, that college team, the Blue Devils or somethin’. Kids these days and their fancy teams!
So, how many games did he play? Well, from what I hear, it weren’t many. Just 11 games. Yep, you heard that right, only eleven! I tell ya, back in my day, if you joined a team, you played the whole season, rain or shine. But these young fellas, they got their own ways, I guess.
- He didn’t play a whole bunch of games, that’s for sure.
- Only 11 times he put on that Duke uniform, they say.
Now, why didn’t he play more? Well, seems like he was only there for one year. Just one! They call it his “freshman season.” Like he was some kinda farmhand just startin’ out. And after that one year, poof, he’s gone. Off to the NBA, the big leagues. Folks say he was the number one pick, fancy that.
Even though he didn’t play long, he was pretty good, from what I gather. Folks talkin’ about him scorin’ lots of points, somethin’ like 17.5 points a game. And he was good at passin’ the ball too, gettin’ his teammates involved. They call ’em “assists,” I think. He had about 4.3 of those.
And get this, they even gave him a special number to wear, the number 1. Said he was the first to wear it under that coach, Krzyzewski or somethin’. Sounds like a mouthful, that name. Probably one of them fancy city folk.
So, this Kyrie, he played 11 games, scored a bunch, helped his teammates, and then went off to be a big shot in the NBA. Played for Cleveland, Boston, now Dallas, they tell me. And he’s playing with another fella named Kevin Durant, all stars I reckon.
Seems like a whirlwind, this boy’s life. Eleven games, and then boom, famous. I tell ya, it’s a different world these days. Back when I was young, you stuck with somethin’. You planted your crops, you raised your family, you stayed put. But these kids, they’re always jumpin’ around, chasing after somethin’. Maybe it’s good, maybe it’s bad. I don’t know, can’t figure them kids out.
But to get back to the point, he played 11 games for Duke. That’s the answer. Eleven little games. And now, he’s playin’ all over the place, makin’ big bucks, I bet. Good for him, I suppose. Everyone’s gotta make a livin’ somehow.
Makes you think though, don’t it? Just eleven games. Some folks work their whole lives and don’t get noticed. This boy plays a few basketball games and he’s a star. Life’s funny that way, ain’t it? But that’s the way of the world, I guess. Always changin’, always surprisin’ you.
Anyways, that’s the story as I heard it. Kyrie, Duke, 11 games. Don’t need to make it any more complicated than that.
