Alright, let’s talk about this young fella, Cooper Flagg. Folks keep jabberin’ about him, so I figured I’d try and make sense of it all. Sounds like he’s a basketball player, a pretty good one at that.
Now, they say he’s a forward, stands tall at 6-9, weighs somethin’ like 205 pounds. That’s a big boy, ain’t it? Comes from a place called Newport, wherever that is. Don’t matter much, I reckon, long as he can play ball.
First Game and Stuff
Heard tell he played a game against some team called Maine. Scored 18 points, they say. Not too shabby for a youngster, I guess. They also said he played for 30 minutes, grabbed 7 rebounds, and passed the ball 5 times for his teammates to score. Even stole the ball 3 times! Though, they mentioned he didn’t block any shots and lost the ball twice. Still, 18 points is a good start, ain’t it?
- Minutes: 30
- Points: 18
- Rebounds: 7
- Assists: 5
- Steals: 3
- Blocks: 0
- Turnovers: 2
They keep track of all sorts of things these days, don’t they? Back in my day, you just played ball and that was that.
Other Games and More Points
Seems like he played against some other teams too. One game, he only scored 9 points against Seattle. Not as good as 18, but hey, everyone has an off day, right? Then there was this game against Arizona, a big one, apparently. He scored 24 points that time! Helped his team, Duke, win the game. That’s some good shootin’, I tell ya.
Another game they mentioned, he got 9 points again, but also had 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Seems like he can do a bit of everything, this Cooper fella. Keeps the young man busy, that’s for sure.
Scoring a Whole Lot
Now, this is where it gets interestin’. They say last summer, playin’ in some league for 16-year-olds, he was scorin’ like crazy. Averaged almost 27 points a game! That’s a heap of points, no matter how you look at it. Guess that’s why everyone’s makin’ such a fuss about him.
Twin Brother and All That
Oh, and get this, he’s got a twin brother! Name’s Ace. They played together for a while, then Ace went to some other place called Montverde. Imagine havin’ two of those big fellas runnin’ around! Must be a sight to see.
Awards and Such
They’re givin’ this Cooper fella awards too. Said he’s the first to win some weekly awards since some other fella back in 2020. Sounds important, I suppose. They like givin’ out awards these days, don’t they?
Seems Like He’s Pretty Good
So, from what I can gather, this Cooper Flagg is a pretty good basketball player. Scores a lot of points, grabs rebounds, passes the ball, steals the ball. Does it all, seems like. Folks are excited about him, and I can see why. He’s young, big, and talented. Guess we’ll see how far he goes. He’s playing for Duke now, some fancy college team. They must think he’s somethin’ special.
Anyways, that’s the lowdown on Cooper Flagg, as best as I can figure it. He’s a basketball player, a good one, and folks are watchin’ him. That’s about all there is to it, far as I’m concerned.
