I asked my grandson for the best pitching style, he told me is submarine style. I never see any submarine in the game, but the kid said this style is the best one, so I believe it.

This submarine style, it’s supposed to be real good. The little man on the screen, he bends way over, almost to the ground, and throws the ball kinda sideways. Looks mighty peculiar, if you ask me. But I guess it works. My grandson, he sure hits a lot of home runs when he uses it.

Now, if you wanna try this submarine thing yourself, my grandson says you gotta go into the game’s settin’s. It’s like adjustin’ the straps on your overalls. You gotta find the right fit. There’s somethin’ called “Gameplay” and then “Pitching Interface.” Don’t ask me what that means, but that’s where you find it. Just like findin’ the right needle for your sewin’ basket. Then pick that submarine style.
I still don’t understand it. I think maybe pure speed is good, like that fastball. I don’t know why the boy like that submarine one. But he keep tellin’ me it’s the best pitching style in MLB The Show 23.
Why This Submarine Is So Good in MLB The Show 23?
Well, that’s what that boy keep sayin’. I think he told me that this submarine style is good because that ball will go down. So the batter will miss it. The batter will swing up in the air, and miss the ball. So he will be out. I think this is why this style is good. But I don’t know, I am not good at playin’ this game, I just like watchin’.
I reckon it’s like tryin’ to hit a chicken with a broom. You gotta aim just right, or you’ll miss. And if you miss, well, you ain’t gettin’ any chicken dinner! Same goes for this baseball game, I suppose. You gotta throw the ball just right, or the other fella will hit it a mile. If you want to try this best pitching style, you should pick that submarine one. I still think the fastball one is good, though.
This here game, it sure is complicated. But I guess that’s what makes it fun for the young folks. Me, I’m happy just watchin’ them play. But if you want to win, just choose that submarine one, don’t ask me why, just do it.
