Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this thing called “Universal Buddy XL,” and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I figured I’d share my experience, ’cause why not? Maybe it’ll help someone else out, or maybe you’ll just get a good laugh at my struggles.

Getting Started
>
First things first, I had to, you know, actually get the darn * part was surprisingly simple, that is, I get all the files to local place, and unpack them.
I started by looking at the models I used for a long time, and I chose a model I like very much as the base, because it can generate very amazing pictures, and it is also very good at various styles, so this is the beginning.
Figuring Things Out
Okay, so I’ve merged the base model, and loaded it up. Now what? I basically just started clicking around, trying different settings.
- I played with the prompt, adding some random words to see what would happen. Some of it was pretty wild.
- I messed around with the negative prompts,I tried to generate images that are not of low quality, so the keywords of low quality must be added to the negative.
- I changed some parameters, and find some styles that I can generate.
The “Aha!” Moment
>

I start to preview my setting in the real-time. I kept messing with the positive and negative prompts, and finally, I started getting some descent results. It start to render the images I want!
The Final Result
>
It’s not perfect, I am pretty happy with what I have, and I think It’s really good at generating all kinds of images.
So, there you have it. My messy, not-so-expert journey with Universal Buddy XL. It’s been fun, frustrating, and ultimately pretty rewarding. If you’re thinking about trying it out, my advice is: just dive in and don’t be afraid to experiment. You might surprise yourself!
