Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter online about Sahith Theegala’s setup, his “WITB” – What’s In The Bag. And, you know, I’m a bit of a gear head myself. So, I decided to dig in and see what this guy is working with, and then, of course, try to replicate some of it myself. I mean, who wouldn’t want to hit bombs like Theegala?

First, I spent some time just scouring the internet. Forums, Reddit, random golf blogs – you name it, I looked at it. I was trying to get a comprehensive, up-to-date list of what he’s actually playing. It’s surprisingly tricky! Things change, sponsorships shift, and what was true last month might not be true today.
My Deep Dive
After a good few hours of searching, and cross-referencing everything, I think I got a pretty solid picture. I compiled everything that was found.
I created my own WITB, inspired by Theegala, obviously.
- Checked Lofts and Lies
- Made sure grips are the right size for my hands.
Next up the following day was a trip to the range. And honestly, It was quite an experience. I can see why he favors these clubs. They are amazing!
The biggest takeaway? Experimentation is key! Don’t just blindly copy someone else’s setup. You need to tinker and figure out what truly works for your game. But, using a pro’s bag as a starting point? Not a bad idea at all. It’s given me some fresh ideas and definitely some things to think about for my own setup.
