Okay, so today I decided to mess around with this Shaquille O’Neal action figure I had lying around. It’s been collecting dust on my shelf, so I figured, why not do something fun with it?

First, I grabbed the figure and took a good look at it. It’s a pretty detailed one, with his Lakers jersey and everything. I remembered getting it years ago, and it brought back some good memories of watching Shaq play.
Setting Up the Scene
I wanted to take some cool pictures of the figure, so I started thinking about where to do it. I didn’t want just a plain background. I looked around my room and spotted my mini basketball hoop. Perfect!
- I cleared a space on my desk.
- I set up the mini hoop.
- I placed Shaq in front of it, like he was about to dunk.
It looked pretty good, but something was missing. I needed some action! I found a small basketball that came with another toy set and placed it in Shaq’s hand. Now he looked like he was really going for a slam dunk!
Getting the Right Shots
I used my phone to take the pictures. I’m no professional photographer, so I just experimented with different angles and lighting.
- I took some shots from below, making Shaq look huge and powerful.
- I tried some close-ups, to capture the details of the figure.
- I even turned off the lights and used a flashlight to create some dramatic shadows.
I took a bunch of pictures, figuring I could just choose the best ones later. It was actually pretty fun, trying to get the perfect shot.

The Final Result
After I was done, I looked through all the photos. Some were blurry, some were weirdly angled, but a few turned out really cool! I picked my favorites and did some quick editing on my phone – just adjusting the brightness and contrast a bit.
I was pretty happy with how they turned out. It was a fun little project, and it gave me something to do with this old action figure. Plus, now I have some cool pictures of Shaq doing his thing!
