Alright, let’s talk about this DMHS football, you know, the high school kind. Kids running around, chasing a ball… reminds me of chickens in the yard, hah! But these young’uns, they take it real serious.
First off, gotta get yourself tickets. No fancy online stuff, mostly. You go to the door, that’s what I heard. Just like the old days, you know? Pay your money, get in. Simple as that. Don’t need none of them computer things.
Now, about the games themselves? Well, it’s a bunch of yelling and running, from what I can tell. These kids, they put their hearts into it, I’ll give ‘em that. They got the football players, big and strong, crashing into each other like bulls. Then you got the cheerleaders, all peppy and loud, waving them pom-poms. And don’t forget the band! They’re making all that noise, trumpets and drums and all. It’s a whole heap of commotion, but folks seem to like it.
Heard tell they got this “Senior Night” thing. That’s when they say goodbye to the older kids, the ones who are graduating. It’s a big deal, you know? Last football game for them. Families come out, everyone’s cheering. It’s kinda sweet, in a way. Makes you think about your own kids, when they were young.
- Tickets: Buy ‘em at the door.
- Players: Big, strong, and they run real fast.
- Cheerleaders: Loud and peppy, they keep the spirits up.
- Band: Makes a whole lot of noise, but it’s a good noise.
- Senior Night: A special game for the graduating kids.
I don’t know much about the rules or the fancy plays. All I see is kids trying their best, working together as a team. That’s what matters, right? And the folks in the stands, they’re all excited, yelling and clapping. It’s a good way to spend an evening, I reckon. Gets you out of the house, and you get to see your neighbors. Support the local kids, that’s what I say.
They also got something called “High School Support Program“, whatever that means. Sounds like they want folks to help out, maybe give some money or somethin’. And they got this “Customer Support” too. Maybe that’s for when you got questions about tickets or somethin’. I ain’t never used it, but it’s there if you need it.
They’re always trying to get you to “Buy Tickets to Live Events.” Well, duh! That’s how you see the game! You can’t watch it on the darn TV, not unless it’s a really big game. These high school games, you gotta be there in person. That’s part of the fun, ain’t it?
And them kids, they got their own social media thing going on. Something called DMHS Students, they post pictures and stuff. I don’t have one of them smart phones, so I don’t look at it myself, but my grandkids tell me about it. They got all sorts of pictures from the games and stuff. Seems like those kids are always taking pictures these days.
Anyways, that’s what I know about DMHS football. It’s a good time, a way for the community to come together. Go out there, cheer on the kids, and have some fun. And don’t forget to buy your ticket at the door!
