Okay, so this morning, I was doing the NYT crossword, as usual, and I got completely stuck. I mean, completely. There was this one clue, “Thunderstruck,” and my brain just went blank. I stared at it for a good five minutes, tried a few random letters, nothing.

Then, I remembered a trick I’d learned a while back. I grabbed my phone and opened up a new tab. I typed in “thunderstruck nyt crossword clue” into the search bar, fingers crossed.
The first few results were those crossword solver websites. I usually avoid those, ’cause it feels like cheating, you know? But I was desperate. I scrolled through the results and the answer was right there!
- ACDC
ACDC! Of course! I slapped my forehead – how could I forget that classic rock anthem? I quickly filled in the letters in the puzzle, and bam, a whole bunch of other words suddenly became clear. It was like a chain reaction.
I finished the crossword a few minutes later, feeling pretty proud of myself. I mean, sure, I got a little help, but hey, sometimes you just need a little nudge, right? I closed my laptop and decided it to record it.
