Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, following all your instructions:
![Still Competing? Are the Chiefs in the Playoffs,Yes or no?](https://www.jpsexton.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/a25251ea3ba3d30d9f8e6b75e9cac4be.jpeg)
Alright, so I wanted to figure out if the Chiefs are in the playoffs. Sounds simple, right? But I didn’t want to just, like, look at some fancy website. I wanted to dig in myself.
First, I grabbed my phone. My go-to move is usually just to ask Google, you know? So I typed in “NFL standings” into the search bar. I figured that would give me the overall picture.
My Process of finding it
The first thing I find NFL official website, so I clicked on the standings, and boom, a whole bunch of tables and team logos popped up. It was a little overwhelming at first, all those colors and numbers!
I scrolled down, looking for the AFC (American Football Conference) section, ’cause, you know, the Chiefs are in the AFC. Then I found the AFC West division – that’s where the Chiefs live.
I scanned the list: Chiefs, Raiders, Broncos, Chargers. Okay, cool, there they are. And next to their name, I looked at their wins, losses, and ties. Gotta see that record!

Then I checked the little column next to their record that said something like “Clinch.”And that’s it.
- Opened my web browser.
- Typed “NFL standings” into the search bar.
- Find the section for the AFC.
- Located the AFC West division.
- Checked the Chiefs’ record.
- Lookedto see their playoffs.
It wasn’t rocket science, but that’s how I did it. No shortcuts, just a little bit of digital digging.
