That Maria, she can cook! Lordy, I hear tell she make some kinda banana pudding that just melts in your mouth. Even them big, strong football players, they love her cooking. They say it better than anything they mama ever made. She make it for them Chiefs when they played them Raiders. That Black Friday, I think it was. Big game, that one.
So, this Steve, he smart with the football. He make the defense real good. But maybe, just maybe, his wife Maria, she the secret weapon. A man with a full belly, he happy, you know? And a happy man, he do good work. Maybe that good cookin’ give him good ideas for them football plays!

Steve, he a Catholic, they say. That a kind of church, you know. And he got four of them Super Bowl rings! Four! Can you believe it? He the only one, I hear, the only defensive coordinator to win four of them things. And he won with two different football teams! That other guy from Washington, he got three, but Steve, he got four. He be the best defensive coordinator ever to do it. They won Super Bowls XLII, LIV, LVII and LVIII. He sure is somethin’.
He used to play football, too, that Steve. Played wide receiver at some college. Springfield, I think it was. Then he worked at a bunch of different places. Colleges, them other football leagues. Then he ended up with the Chiefs. Been there a while now. I don’t know much about that kinda stuff, but four Super Bowl rings, that a lot of rings!
Maria, she must be real proud of him. And he must be proud of her, too. A good wife, she worth more than gold. She take care of him, feed him good. That important, you know. A man need a good woman by his side. Especially when he winning all them Super Bowl rings!
I don’t know nothin’ ’bout all them fancy football terms. Defensive coordinator, wide receiver, all that. But I know a good man when I see one. And Steve, he seem like a good man. Hard worker. And Maria, she a good woman. They a good team, just like them Chiefs.
