Okay, so I’ve been tearing my hair out all week over this one lineup decision for my fantasy football league. It’s championship week, baby, and I gotta get this right! The big question plaguing me: start Mostert or Edmonds?

First thing I did was hit up the usual spots – you know, check the expert rankings. Some guys had Mostert way up high, others were all about Edmonds. Talk about confusing!
So, I decided to ditch the “experts” for a bit and dive into the stats myself. I pulled up their game logs from the past few weeks, looking at carries, targets, yards, touchdowns – the whole nine yards. Mostert’s been a beast, no doubt, but he’s also been sharing the workload. Edmonds, on the other hand, saw a huge bump in usage last week.
My Process:
- Checked recent game logs for both players.
- Compared their average fantasy points over the last 3-4 weeks.
- Considered the opponent – who’s got the tougher matchup?
- Scoured the injury reports – are either of them banged up?
- Read any news or articles I could find to check for updates.
Then I moved on to matchup analysis. Miami’s running game is strong, and the match seemed good. Denver is a good matchup, too. Ugh, this wasn’t making it any easier!
I even went down the rabbit hole of checking weather reports! I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but I was desperate for any kind of edge. Rain? Snow? Wind? Nothing significant, darn it.
Finally, after hours of agonizing, going back and forth, flipping a virtual coin (don’t judge!), I made my decision. I’m starting Mostert.

Why? Because it’s about his recent performace, and I have to roll the dice some time.
Wish me luck, folks! I’ll update you next week on whether my meticulous (or maybe just manic) process paid off.
