Okay, so today I wanted to dig into the stats for the San Francisco Giants vs. Milwaukee Brewers game. I’m a huge baseball fan, and I always like to see how players performed.

First, I fired up my computer and opened my browser. Gotta start somewhere, right?
Finding the Stats
Then, I needed to find a good source for the stats. I figured I am going to find me a website, just to try it out.
Sifting Through the Data
Once I got to the page with the stats, I started looking for some key things.
- Hitting: I checked out batting averages, home runs, RBIs – the usual stuff. I wanted to see who was hot and who was not. It’s always interesting to see who’s contributing the most runs.
- Pitching: I looked at ERA, strikeouts, and walks. These are good indicators of how well a pitcher is doing. A low ERA is always a good sign, and lots of strikeouts are impressive.
- Individual Players: I also wanted to see how specific players did. Maybe there was a standout performance, or someone I follow had a particularly good or bad game.
Putting It All Together
After I gathered all the info, I took some time to make sense of it all. Numbers are cool, but it’s the story they tell that really matters. I compared the stats between the two teams, saw who had the edge in different areas, and got a good feel for how the game went just from the numbers.

That’s about it! It was a fun little dive into the stats, and now I feel like I have a better understanding of how that Giants-Brewers game played out. Time well spent, I’d say!
