OK, so, like many of you, I’ve been tuning into Ring of Honor lately. Let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride! I started watching regularly back in February, around the time when Tony Khan took over, I think it was the 23rd? It’s been a crazy few months, that’s for sure.
I really got into it when they started that Honor Club thing. It’s only 9.99 a month! Initially, I was a bit bummed that the pay-per-view events weren’t on there right away, but I heard they added them later on, like 90 days after, which is still something, I guess.
Anyway, I’ve been keeping up with the weekly shows, every Thursday, you know? They’re calling it ROH TV now. I remember one episode, I think it was the 88th one, back on October 31st. Man, that one was a doozy!
But the real highlight for me was that taping they did at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. I watched the episode that aired on December 26th, but they actually taped it a few days earlier. It was part of that whole “Final Battle” aftermath, or something like that. Pretty big deal, apparently.
They had another set of tapings at this Esports place in Arlington. I can’t recall the exact date, but it was sometime in August.
- That episode with Athena and Billie Starkz was intense!
- Athena was hyping up Starkz, but then it turned into an elimination thing.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m hooked! I’m thinking of checking out some older stuff too, like from way back when. I heard there was a guy who hadn’t wrestled for them in 15 years or something? Crazy, right?
So yeah, that’s my ROH journey so far. It’s been a blast, and I’m definitely sticking around for more. What about you guys? What are your favorite ROH moments? Let’s talk about it!
