Okay, so I’ve always been a bit of a tinkerer, you know? Love customizing stuff, making it my own. My PS4, though, it was just sitting there, all plain and boring. I figured, why not spice it up a bit? That’s when I started looking into PS4 decals.
First, I browsed around online to see what kind of designs were even out there. Wow, there’s a ton! Everything from simple color changes to full-blown artwork. I spent a good few hours just scrolling through different sites, looking at all the options.
I finally settled on a design I liked, something not too flashy but still cool. I placed the order and waited. It felt like forever, but the package finally arrived!
Opened it up, and there it was, my new PS4 skin. The instructions looked pretty simple. Basically, clean the PS4, peel the decal off its backing, and stick it on. Sounds easy enough, right?
Getting to Work
So, I grabbed some cleaning supplies and got to work. I wiped down the PS4, making sure to get rid of any dust or grime. You don’t want any of that getting trapped under the decal.
Then came the tricky part. I carefully peeled the decal off the backing, trying not to stretch it or anything. It was a bit fiddly, especially around the corners and buttons.
Slowly, I started applying the decal to the PS4. I used a credit card to smooth out any bubbles, just like the instructions said. It took some patience, but I managed to get it on there pretty straight.
- Cleaned the PS4 thoroughly.
- Carefully peeled off the decal.
- Slowly applied the decal, smoothing out bubbles.
- Repeated for each section of the PS4.
I had to do this for each section of the PS4 – the top, the sides, even the little strip in the front. It was a bit of a process, but seeing it all come together was really satisfying.
And there you have it! My once boring PS4 now has a whole new look. It’s not perfect, there are a couple of tiny bubbles I couldn’t quite get out, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It definitely feels more like my PS4 now.
If you’re thinking about doing this yourself, I say go for it! It’s a fun little project, and it’s a great way to personalize your console. Just be patient, take your time, and you’ll end up with something you’re proud of.
