Okay, so I’ve been seeing this Presidents Trail Monopoly GO thing all over the place, and I finally decided to give it a shot. I mean, who doesn’t love a good scavenger hunt, especially one that involves a bit of history and some friendly competition?

First things first, I grabbed my phone and made sure I had the Monopoly GO app updated. I didn’t want any glitches ruining my fun. Then I did a quick search online just to get the basic idea of what the Presidents Trail was all about. Sounded like a bunch of landmarks, some challenges, and a whole lot of virtual dice rolling.
I started my journey, virtually of course, through the app. It’s pretty cool how they laid it all out. You basically follow this trail, landing on different spots that represent historical landmarks. Each spot has these little mini-games or tasks you gotta do.
- Rolling the Dice: Yep, lots of dice rolling. It’s Monopoly, after all! You move your little token around the virtual board, hoping to land on the good spots.
- Collecting Landmarks: This is the main goal. You’re trying to “own” these historical places by landing on them and completing the challenges.
- The Challenges: Some were easy, like answering a trivia question. Others were a bit trickier, like having to wait a certain amount of time or collect a specific number of in-game items.
- Competing with Friends: I didn’t have any of my friends actively playing at the same time, but you can totally see how you’re stacking up against others on the leaderboard. That competitive spirit definitely kicks in!
Honestly, the first few landmarks were a breeze. I was rolling high, answering questions like a champ, and feeling pretty good about myself. Then, boom, I hit a rough patch. Kept landing on spots that either didn’t help me or set me back. Classic Monopoly luck, right?
I spent a good chunk of my day on this. I wouldn’t say I got totally obsessed, but it was definitely engaging enough to keep me coming back for “just one more roll.”
The End Result
Did I conquer the entire Presidents Trail? Nope, not yet. It’s definitely a grind, and you need some serious dedication (and maybe a bit of luck) to get through it all. But I did manage to collect a decent number of landmarks and had a good time doing it. I am going to finish later.

It’s a fun little way to kill some time, learn a few things, and maybe even feel a tiny bit patriotic along the way. Would I recommend it? Sure, why not! Just be prepared to roll that virtual dice… a lot.
