Okay, so, “Road to Wrestlemania Oakland”… let me tell you, this whole thing was a wild ride from start to finish. It all started with a random ad I saw online. I’m a huge wrestling fan, always have been, and when I saw that Wrestlemania was coming relatively close to me, I knew I had to try to go.
First thing I did was panic. Seriously. Tickets for these things are like gold dust. So, I jumped on the ticket websites, refreshing like a madman. It felt like hours, but it was probably only, like, 20 minutes of clicking and praying before I finally snagged a couple of seats. Not the best seats, mind you, we were kinda up in the nosebleeds, but hey, we were in!
Then came the planning. We had to figure out the drive, because Oakland isn’t exactly next door. We’re talking a few hours on the road, so that meant packing snacks, making a killer playlist (lots of classic rock and wrestling theme songs, obviously), and figuring out where to crash for the night.
We found a decent, not-too-expensive hotel about a 20-minute drive from the arena. Booked that, and then started counting down the days. It felt like forever!
The day of, we hit the road early. We wanted to get there with plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere, maybe grab some merch, and just generally be part of the whole Wrestlemania experience.
The drive itself was… well, it was a drive. Lots of traffic, especially getting closer to Oakland. But the excitement kept us going. We cranked up the music, sang along badly, and talked about all the matches we were hoping to see.

Getting into the arena was another adventure. Crowds everywhere! But everyone was so hyped up, it was just a massive party vibe. We found our seats, and even though they were high up, the view was still pretty amazing. You could feel the energy just buzzing in the air.
The show went on and I saw my favorite stars.
- The Rock
- Triple H
- Undertake
The matches were insane. Seriously, some of the craziest stuff I’ve ever seen. The crowd was going wild, chanting, cheering, booing – the whole nine yards. We lost our voices from screaming so much.
After the show, we were completely exhausted, but in the best way possible. We stumbled back to the hotel, crashed hard, and then drove back home the next day, still buzzing from the whole experience.

So, yeah, “Road to Wrestlemania Oakland” was a total success. It was a lot of planning, a long drive, and a whole lot of screaming, but it was absolutely worth it. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat!
