Yesterday, I finally got some free time and decided to dive into Final Fantasy 16. You know, I’ve been looking forward to hunting down these Mageth Brothers for a while now. So, I booted up the game, and the first thing I did was check the main quest – it’s called “Fire in the Sky.” Got it. Then, I went straight to the Hunt Board. That’s where you get the lowdown on these special marks, right?
The board pointed me to the Quietsands in Rosaria. I thought, “Okay, that’s straightforward enough.” I teleported to the Port Isolde Obelisk ’cause it was the closest, and from there, I just headed north. It wasn’t hard to spot the area where these guys were supposed to be. You just follow the path, and boom, you’re there.
But then I remembered reading something about another hunt, this Dozmare griffin. Some folks online were saying it’s a real time-saver to know where it is. Apparently, it’s in Norvent Valley, in the southeastern corner. I figured, “Why not check it out?” So I went back to Lostwing village and took the southern route. Followed it all the way to the end, and sure enough, the griffin swooped down. That was a fun little detour!
Other B-rank hunts

Then I thought I had to get the location about this other B-rank enemy, the Holy Trumpitour.
-
So I did some digging around, and guess what? It’s in Sanbreque, and even better, it’s in Lostwing too!
-
I just fast-traveled to the Obelisk nearby. Super convenient.

It turned out that you have to start the Mageth Brothers hunt first before you can take on them. That’s what the internet said anyway.
Honestly, it was a pretty productive gaming session. I got to explore a bit, found those Mageth Brothers, and even took down a griffin on the side. Plus, I figured out where to find another one of those B-rank hunts. All in all, I’d say it was a good day in the world of Final Fantasy 16. Can’t wait to see what other hunts are waiting for me!
