Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with something called “approval crossword.” I’d never really done anything like it before, so it was all new to me.
Getting Started
First, I just tried to find, you know, what this thing actually is. I did some searching on my computer.
Looked like I needed some kind of grid, and then…clues, I guess? It’s kind of a word puzzle, where the words all connect together, up and down, across.
The Hard Part: Making the Grid
This was the trickiest part, at least for me. I’m no artist, so drawing a perfect grid? Forget about it. I scribbled some lines on paper, but it looked messy. It was tough to get all those little squares the right size and all lined up.
Putting Words In
I used a pencil, that I found in my home, Because, you know, mistakes happen, And I’m not professional at all.
I just thought of some easy word, and put them on the paper.

Checking My Work (and Fixing Mistakes)
Once I filled in as much as I could, I went back and checked everything. Did all the words actually fit together? Did I spell everything right? Turns out, I made a few boo-boos, so I had to erase and try again.
Finished…For Now!
Finally, I had something that looked like a finished “approval crossword”. It wasn’t perfect, and it probably wouldn’t win any awards, but I did it! It was actually kind of fun, like a little brain workout. I might even try making another one sometime, maybe with a theme or something.
