Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this “Monster Hunter Now” game lately, and let me tell you, figuring out these weapon controls was a bit of a journey. I figured I’d share my experience, might save some of you a headache or two.
So, first off, I booted up the game, right? And you start with this Sword & Shield thing. It’s pretty basic, no frills. I mean, you just tap, tap, tap to swing, and swipe to dodge. No need to learn any crazy combos, which is nice when you’re just starting out.
Now, I played around with this Sword & Shield for a while, just getting the hang of things. Smacked a few monsters, you know, the usual. But then I thought, “There’s gotta be more to this, right?” So, I started poking around the menus. Turns out, I can use new weapons as I make progress in the game. That sounds really cool.
I found this little icon on the right side of the screen, next to my profile picture. It showed the Sword & Shield I was using. I tapped on it, and boom, a list of other weapons popped up. I guess I just gotta play more to get my hands on them. The game tells me that they all have their own special moves, damage, and how fast they swing. Sounds like fun.
But here’s the thing, the Sword & Shield, it’s not just about slashing. You can also do this blunt damage thing with it. I guess it’s good for different types of monsters. So, I went back to whacking monsters, trying to figure out this blunt damage combo. Took me a bit, but I got it eventually. Feels good to have more than one way to smack these creatures around.
So, I’m still rocking the Sword & Shield for now, since it’s the only thing I have. But I’m definitely keeping an eye out for those other weapons. I’ll probably try them out.
Here are some of my key takeaways from my Monster Hunter Now weapon control adventure:
- Started the game, got handed a Sword & Shield.
- Tapped around, figured out basic attacks and dodges.
- Found the weapon menu, saw a list of locked weapons.
- Learned about different weapon stats like damage and speed.
- Discovered the Sword & Shield’s blunt damage combo.
- Realized I need to keep playing to unlock more weapons.
Anyway, that’s my experience so far with the weapon controls in “Monster Hunter Now”. Hope this helps some of you out there. Happy hunting!
