Okay, so I saw this “St. Patty’s Party” thing going on in Monopoly Go, and I figured, why not? I’m always up for some extra dice rolls and stuff. Here’s how it went down for me.

First, I logged into the game, obviously. Right away, I saw all this green everywhere – shamrocks, leprechauns, the whole nine yards. They really went all out with the theme. There was this new event banner, so I clicked on it.
It turned out to be a tournament, which is pretty standard for Monopoly Go. Basically, you earn points by landing on certain tiles, usually railroads in these things. The more points you get, the higher you climb on the leaderboard, and the better rewards you snag.
I started rolling, trying to hit those railroads. I gotta say, it wasn’t always easy. Sometimes I’d land just before or after a railroad, which was super frustrating. But, hey, that’s Monopoly, right? Random as heck.
- I noticed that picking up shields that have shamrock gave me points too.
- I made sure that Auto-roll was turned on.
- I kept an eye on the timer for the event, because I wanted to make sure I got as many points.
I did manage to land on a few railroads, and I even got a couple of those “Community Chest” cards that gave me bonus points. Slowly but surely, my score started creeping up. I wasn’t at the top of the leaderboard or anything, but I was doing alright.
My Little Strategy
I started playing a bit more than it. Instead of just randomly using my highest multiplier all the time, I started paying more attention to where I was on the board. If I was, say, six or seven spaces away from a railroad, I’d bump up the multiplier, hoping to land on it. If I was way off, I’d stick to a lower multiplier to conserve dice.

After playing for a few hours, spread throughout the day, I checked the leaderboard again.I wasn’t like, in the top 10 or anything, but I was high enough to get some decent rewards. I think I ended up with a good chunk of dice rolls, some in-game cash, and maybe even a new token. I can’t quite remember, to be honest, but it was definitely worth it.
Overall, it was a fun little event. Nothing groundbreaking, but a good way to kill some time and snag some extra goodies in Monopoly Go. If you see one of these pop up, I’d say give it a shot. You might be surprised at how well you do!
