Okay, so today I wanna talk about the “Spooky Soiree” event in Monopoly GO. Man, this game just keeps throwing these events at us, right?
First off, I launched the Monopoly GO app on my phone. I’ve been playing this game for a while now, so I’m kinda used to these events popping up. The Spooky Soiree event was right there on the main screen, all Halloween-themed and stuff. Looked pretty cool, I gotta say.
So I tapped on the event to see what’s up. Basically, the whole point of this Spooky Soiree thing is to rack up points. How do you do that? By landing on certain tiles and doing two things: Shut Downs and Bank Heists. Sounds simple enough, yeah?
I started rolling the dice, moving my little token around the board. Every time I landed on a tile that let me do a Shut Down or a Bank Heist, I went for it. Shut Downs are easy, you just pick a property and, bam, you’ve shut it down. Bank Heists are a bit more fun, you get to try and rob another player’s bank. Sometimes you get a lot of money, sometimes not so much. It’s a gamble!
As I played, I noticed there were these milestones I could hit. You know, like, get 50 points and you get a prize, get 100 points and you get another prize, and so on. The prizes were pretty decent – extra dice rolls, in-game cash, that kind of thing. So I kept playing, trying to hit those milestones. Some of the tasks were easy, some were a bit tougher and took a while to complete.
- Land on the Railroad tile
- Do a Shut Down
- Perform a Bank Heist
- Reach the milestone
- Collect rewards
I also realized that the more I played, the more I leveled up in the event. And with each level, the rewards got better. It was kinda like a double reward system, which was neat. It definitely kept me playing longer than I probably should have. I spent a good chunk of my afternoon on this, not gonna lie.
By the end of it, I had collected a bunch of rewards and made some good progress in the event. I didn’t finish the whole thing, but I got pretty far. I guess I’ll keep chipping away at it over the next few days. That’s how these events usually go, right? You just play a little bit each day until it’s over.
So yeah, that was my experience with the Spooky Soiree event in Monopoly GO today. It was a fun way to kill some time and get some extra goodies in the game. If you’re playing Monopoly GO, I’d say definitely check it out. Just don’t get too sucked in like I did!
