Okay, so I’ve been seeing “Meredith Scudder” pop up all over my feeds lately, and I finally caved and decided to figure out what all the fuss was about. Turns out, it’s this super cool image generation thing. It’s kind of like those AI art generators, but this one feels… different. More refined, maybe?

First, I dug around to find where to even use this. No apps, just websites. Found one, and it looked pretty bare-bones, to be honest. Just a simple text box. That actually made me a little skeptical, but hey, gotta try it, right?
So, I typed in my first prompt. Something simple, like “cat wearing a tiny hat.” I hit the “Generate” button (or whatever it was called – can’t quite remember), and waited. It took a few seconds, longer than I expected, but then… BAM!
This image popped up, and it was… surprisingly good! The cat was adorable, the hat was ridiculously small, and the whole thing had this, like, painterly quality. Not photorealistic, but definitely artistic. I was instantly hooked.
Next, I started experimenting. I tried all sorts of prompts:
- “Robot drinking coffee in a rainy city”
- “Squirrel playing a tiny violin”
- “Underwater castle made of coral”
Every time, I was impressed. The images weren’t always perfect, sometimes things were a little wonky, but the overall style was consistent, and just… pleasing. Like, I could actually see myself using these images for something, not just laughing at how weird they are.

Playing With Styles
Then, I noticed there were some style options! I clicked around and found things like “oil painting,” “watercolor,” “pencil sketch,” even “cyberpunk.” This is where things got REALLY interesting.
I went back to my “cat in a tiny hat” prompt and selected “watercolor.” The result was totally different, but still awesome! It looked like something you’d see in a children’s book. Then I tried “cyberpunk,” and suddenly my cat was a neon-lit, futuristic feline. It was wild!
I kept tweaking and tweaking, combining prompts and * felt less like giving instructions and more like…collaborating with an artist. A very fast, very weird artist.
Finally, I was creating images and I was so suprised that It looked great!
So, yeah, that’s my Meredith Scudder journey so far. I’ve basically spent the whole day playing with it, and I’m still not bored. It’s definitely something I’ll keep messing around with. It’s just plain fun, and the results are way better than I expected from some random website.
