Okay, so I wanted to listen to the K-State football game on the radio the other day. It’s not always easy to find, you know? So, I figured I’d share my little adventure in case anyone else is trying to do the same thing.

Figuring Out the Station
First things first, I needed to figure out which station was actually broadcasting the game. Sometimes it’s on one station, sometimes it’s on another. It’s a whole thing.
I grabbed my phone and googled “K-State football radio broadcast”. It gave me a couple of options, usually the official K-State Sports Network affiliates.
Finding a Strong Signal (or a Stream)
Once I had the station, I needed to, well, find it. I started by trying my regular car radio. Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I don’t. This time? Mostly static.
- Tried the AM dial. Nothing but fuzz.
- Tried the FM dial. Still mostly static, but I could almost hear something.
Then, I remembered, I am not limited by location. Then I went ahead to find if there is any available radio stream.
The Final Result
So I tried to find the online stream that I found just now, tuned in, and BOOM! There was the game! I could finally listen in. Success! It took a little bit of fiddling, but it was totally worth it.

Next time,I might try a radio app on my phone. Probably easier than messing with the actual radio dials.
