Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get back into tennis, and I figured, why not document my “journey,” if you can even call it that. I played a bit in high school, but that was… a while ago. My goal today was simple, start to playing tennis again. I searched for a while and found the “navarro tennis”.

Finding My Old Gear
First things first, I dug through the attic to find my old racket. It was dusty and the grip was totally worn out, but hey, it’s a racket. found it!
Getting new tennis
I forgot to buy some new balls,I went to the store and bought some new * get back to my home.
Hitting the Courts(find a wall)
I drove down to the local park. No fancy courts, just a simple * enough for me.
- Warm-up: I started with some light stretches. Didn’t want to pull anything on day one,my body is old…ha..ha…
- Forehands: Man, my forehand was RUSTY. Balls were flying everywhere. I spent a good 20 minutes just trying to get a consistent rhythm going. It felt awkward at first, but slowly, I started to remember the feel of it.
- Backhands: Even worse than my forehand, my backhand need more practicing.
- Just Hitting: After that, I just practiced hitting against the wall, trying to keep a rally going. My goal was 10 hits in a row. Took me a while, but I finally got there a few times!
The Aftermath
I’m definitely feeling it now. My arm is a little sore, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be feeling it more tomorrow. But it felt GOOD to be out there, hitting a ball again. It wasn’t pretty, but it was a * time ,I think I need to find a real court to play tennis, maybe I will to find a partner next time.
