So, I gotta tell you about this little project I worked on the other day. It was all about getting some new uniforms for the KU team, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a rollercoaster.
It all started on Thursday afternoon. I was scrolling through social media, minding my own business, when I saw it – KU basketball announced they were bringing back the “circus font” for their new uniforms this coming season. Now, I’m a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to this stuff, so I wasn’t immediately sold. But, you know, I figured I’d keep an open mind.
Then, a little later, I saw another post. This time it was about the KU football team. They unveiled their new red uniforms for the 2024 season. These were all-red jerseys and pants, with “Kansas” displayed across the chest. Okay, now these I liked. They were bold, they were different, and they just felt right.
So I decided to dig a little deeper. I started looking into when we might see these new uniforms in action. Turns out, the football team will be sporting the new red jerseys when they open up Big 12 play against West Virginia on September 21st. Mark your calendars, folks!
Now, as for the basketball uniforms, I’m still not 100% on board with the circus font, but I’m willing to wait and see how they look on the court. Who knows, maybe they’ll grow on me. After all, change can be good, right?
Here’s what I did:
- Saw the announcement about the new basketball uniforms on social media.
- Noticed the “circus font” was making a comeback.
- Spotted the reveal of the new red football uniforms.
- Liked the look of the football jerseys and pants.
- Found out the football team will wear the new uniforms on September 21st against West Virginia.
- Decided to reserve judgment on the basketball uniforms until I see them in action.
My Thoughts
Overall, I’m pretty excited about the new football uniforms. I think they’re a great look for the team, and I can’t wait to see them on the field. As for the basketball uniforms, well, I’m still on the fence. But hey, I’m always open to being surprised.
Anyway, that’s my little story about the new KU uniforms. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments!
