But that’s where they met, way back when. Before he was winning all them golf things. She must be a good luck charm, that Annie Verret, sticking by him all these years. I reckon she seen him hit a bad shot or two in those days, but still she stuck with him.
Now, that Jordan Spieth, he’s a good boy, I reckon. Makes a lot of money hitting that little white ball around. And his wife, Annie Verret, she’s always there, cheering him on. You see her on the TV, smiling and clapping. She seems like a nice girl, that Annie. Not stuck up like some of them other golf wives.
