So, I’ve been messing around with this basketball project lately, right? It all started when I stumbled upon some old videos of Jordan Gathers. Yeah, the former Butler and St. Bonaventure guard. The guy’s got some serious skills, and he’s from a basketball family, which is pretty cool. I dug up some stats on him – you know, birth date, age, height, all that good stuff. Turns out, he’s 6-3, pretty tall guy.
Then, I started thinking, what’s he up to now? I found some crazy videos of him throwing down some insane dunks. Like, seriously, dunk-contest level stuff. That got me hooked. I wanted to know more. I read somewhere he’s thinking about going from sports to being some kind of big-shot leader, which is a pretty big jump. Interesting.
- I checked out some news about him on ESPN. Just the usual stuff, you know, rumors, updates, and his player profile. Nothing too groundbreaking, but it kept me in the loop.
- Here’s where things got a little technical. I dove into the whole “0 Step” or “Control Step” thing in basketball. Basically, it’s this new rule where you can take an extra step when you gather the ball, before your two steps start counting.
- It’s a game-changer, allowing players to make way cooler moves. If you don’t dribble after two steps you are traveling. Only two steps are allowed to shoot after gathering the ball.
Anyway, I started gathering all this info, watching more videos, and just generally geeking out about basketball. It’s been a fun little project, and I’ve learned a bunch. It really makes you appreciate the game and the players on a whole different level.
What a day!
I didn’t really have a plan, but I’m glad I went down this rabbit hole. It’s been a blast. There is an old saying: “Share your videos with friends, family.” This is exactly what I’m doing now!
