Then I went down the Jon Rahm rabbit hole. This guy, he’s somethin’ else. He was ranked number 3 in the world, and he was the reigning Masters champ! Then he jumped ship to LIV Golf. Heard he got a crazy signing bonus, like $300 million. Can you believe that? Apparently, half of that was paid upfront. Wild.
But here’s where I really got interested: his sponsors.
Turns out, back in 2021, Rahm signed a deal with Callaway. Used to be with TaylorMade, but now he’s all in with Callaway. Clubs, balls, the whole shebang. So, I watched a bunch of his games, paying close attention to his gear. It’s all Callaway, all the time. You can’t miss it.
- Callaway: They’re the big one, obviously. Providing all his clubs and probably a whole lot of cash.
