Okay, so I’ve been seeing this Jake Paul haircut everywhere, and I finally decided to go for it. I mean, the guy’s got some serious style, even if you’re not a fan of his boxing or YouTube stuff. So, I thought, “Why not?” and figured I’d document the whole thing.
First, I needed to figure out what exactly his haircut is. Turns out, it’s some kind of fade. I’m no expert, but from what I gathered, it’s a mid to high fade, pretty popular these days apparently, it started in the military in the 40s and 50s. I scrolled through tons of pictures of him, you know, just to get a good sense of the cut from all angles. He’s got so many different looks, it’s kinda crazy. Sometimes it’s super styled and upright, and other times it’s just kinda messy and natural-looking, using some kind of product.
Next, I had to find a barber who wouldn’t look at me like I was crazy when I asked for a “Jake Paul.” I ended up going to this place downtown that a friend recommended. They seemed to know what they were doing.
The Haircut Process:
- Showing the Picture: I pulled up a few pics of Jake on my phone, the ones where his hair looked the best, in my opinion. I showed them to the barber and he just nodded, like he’d done this a million times before.
- The Fade: He started with the sides, buzzing them down pretty short. I could feel the clippers going higher and higher. This was the fade part, I guess. It felt kinda weird, but I trusted the process.
- The Top: He left the top a bit longer, trimming it with scissors. He used some kind of product to make it stand up, just like in the pictures. I’m not sure what it was, but it smelled pretty good. He also gave some suggestions about the product.
- The Styling: This was the tricky part. He showed me how to style it myself, using the product and a comb. It took a few tries, but I think I got the hang of it.
The Result:
Honestly, I was surprised at how much I liked it! It’s definitely a bold look, but it’s also kinda cool. I feel like a new man. It’s a bit of a change, but I’m into it. I’ve been getting a lot of compliments, too, which is always nice. It’s not just a haircut, it’s like a whole new vibe. I’m not sure if I’ll keep it forever, but for now, I’m rocking the Jake Paul haircut, and I’m not mad about it.
If you’re thinking about getting this haircut, I say go for it! Just make sure you find a good barber and have some pictures ready to show them. And be prepared to spend a little extra time styling it in the morning. It’s worth it, though, trust me!
