As a gamer, I have been playing Clash of Clans for several years. Recently, I noticed a new feature called the “Builder’s Apprentice.” I was curious about it, so I decided to give it a try.
First, I checked the basic info of this new stuff. It says that at the maximum level, the Builder’s Apprentice can work at 8x speed. Sounds cool, right? This means saving eight hours of upgrade time within its one-hour active period.
So, I started to use it. The initial cost wasn’t too bad. I spent some gems to get it started. To upgrade it to the 8th level, it costs a total of 6,500 gems. That’s a lot of gems, man. But I really wanted to see if it was worth it.
I used the Builder’s Apprentice every day. It does speed up the upgrades, no kidding. In the beginning, it was pretty handy. I could upgrade my buildings and defenses much faster than before.
But here comes the problem. I found myself logging in every day just to reset it. If you miss a day, you kind of lose the benefit. It felt like a chore after a while. And I realized that I was spending more time on the game than I wanted to.
Then I did some math. If I really login every day, then it can be worth it. But honestly, who has the time to do that all the time? There are so many other things in life, you know?
I also compared it with Builder Potions. Guess what? Builder Potions are way more cost-effective. For the same amount of gems, I could get more hours of boost with the potions, especially since I have five builders.
My Final Thoughts
- The Builder’s Apprentice is kind of expensive. 6,500 gems for the full upgrade is just too much. They should really lower the price or something.
- It’s a bit of a trap. It makes you want to log in every day, which can be tiring.
- Builder Potions are a better deal. You get more bang for your buck with them.
In conclusion, the Builder’s Apprentice is not really worth it for me. It’s too expensive, and it makes the game feel like a daily task. I’d rather use my gems on other things. It is kind of trash. I decided to stop using the Builder’s Apprentice and went back to my regular playing style. I’ll just use Builder Potions when I need a boost. Much easier and cheaper.
So, that’s my experience with the Builder’s Apprentice. Hope this helps some of you guys who are also wondering about it. Keep clashing, but don’t let the game take over your life!
