So, who is this Ahkeema, you ask? Well, from what I gather, she’s one of them “content creators”. Yeah, that’s what they call ’em these days. She’s on this thing called Instagram, showin’ off her life and stuff. Sounds like she’s got a whole bunch of folks followin’ her, too. Like, fifty-somethin’ thousand, last I heard. That’s a whole lotta people, ain’t it?
What’s she showin’ off? Well, all sorts of things. She does these “shopping hauls,” which is just her showin’ off the stuff she bought. Like, clothes and things, I guess. She also shares what she eats, mostly stuff she calls “comfort food”. You know, the kinda food that makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And she talks about her family sometimes, too. Just regular life stuff, ya know?

Now, I ain’t got no Instagram myself, but my grandkids are always on it. They tell me it’s all about pictures and videos. And that’s what Ahkeema does, apparently. She takes pictures and videos of her everyday life and puts ’em up for everyone to see. It’s like she’s invitin’ the whole world into her home, kinda.
It seems like she’s doin’ alright for herself, this Ahkeema. Got all them followers and all. But I reckon it ain’t always easy, makin’ content all the time. Gotta come up with new ideas, keep people interested, that sorta thing. It’s like a job, I guess. A strange kinda job, but a job nonetheless.
And speakin’ of jobs, I heard tell of this fella named Zion Williamson. Now, he ain’t no content creator, but he’s famous too, in a different way. He plays this game called basketball, and he’s real good at it. So good, in fact, that he got a big ol’ contract with a team called the New Orleans Pelicans.
Now, I don’t know much about basketball, but I do know a thing or two about money. And let me tell ya, this Zion fella is makin’ a whole heap of it! I heard somethin’ about him gettin’ nearly two hundred million dollars! Can you believe that? Two hundred million dollars! That’s enough money to buy a whole town, I reckon. That’s Big Money, y’all.
Apparently, he’s gettin’ paid around thirty-nine million dollars a year. That’s more money than most folks see in a lifetime! And it’s guaranteed, too. That means even if he gets hurt or somethin’, he still gets paid. Must be nice, huh? Wish I had a job like that!
But back to Ahkeema. She ain’t makin’ millions like Zion, but she’s doin’ her thing, sharin’ her life with the world. And folks seem to like it. She’s got a good number of followers, like I said. And she calls herself a “video creator” too. So, she’s not just takin’ pictures, she’s makin’ videos, too. Movin’ pictures, my grandkids call ’em.
Ahkeema and Zion, they’re different folks, doin’ different things. But they both got somethin’ in common, I reckon. They’re both puttin’ themselves out there, sharin’ their talents with the world. And they’re both gettin’ somethin’ out of it, too. Zion’s gettin’ rich, and Ahkeema’s gettin’ attention and maybe a little bit of money, too. Who knows, right?
It’s a different world now, y’all. Things ain’t the same as when I was growin’ up. Back then, we didn’t have no internet or Instagram. We just had each other. And that was enough, I guess. But times change, and people change with ’em. And now we got folks like Ahkeema sharin’ their lives online, and folks like Zion makin’ millions playin’ games. It’s somethin’, ain’t it?
