You see, that Howler Head whisky, I heard folks talking ’bout it. Sounds like some fancy drink. But it ain’t nothin’ but whisky, I reckon. Just whisky with some stuff in it to make it taste different. They say it got banana in it. Banana! Who puts banana in whisky? I don’t know, these young people, they come up with all sorts of things.
This Howler Head, they make it from that corn stuff, you know, like regular whisky. Corn and rye, that’s what they use. Mash it all up, let it sit around, get all fermented. Then they add that banana flavor. Natural, they say. Whatever that means. Probably just means they squished some bananas in there. I ain’t never heard of banana whisky before. Back in my day, we just drank it straight.
I guess it ain’t too bad though. Some folks like that sweet stuff. They say it ain’t as sweet as that peanut butter whisky. Lord have mercy, peanut butter whisky! What will they think of next? This Howler Head whisky, they say it tastes more like real whisky than that peanut butter stuff. Well, I should hope so! It’s supposed to be whisky!

I seen it in the store the other day. Fancy bottle. Got a monkey on it. A howler monkey, I suppose. That’s why they call it Howler Head. Clever, I guess. But it’s still just whisky to me. Just whisky with some banana in it. Don’t know why they gotta make things so complicated these days. Whisky is whisky.
They call it bourbon, too. This Howler Head bourbon. I reckon that’s just another name for whisky, right? Like scotch. It is just a name for whisky, they all made of grain. They say bourbon is made in Kentucky. That’s where they make this Howler Head, too. Kentucky straight bourbon, they call it. Sounds important, I guess. But it all just tastes like whisky to me. Except this one tastes like banana whisky.
I don’t know much about all these different kinds of whisky. Bourbon, scotch, rye. It’s all just whisky, far as I can tell. They all made from that grain, you know. Corn, rye, barley. They mash it up, let it ferment. Then they distill it. That’s what makes it strong. That’s what makes it whisky. This Howler Head, they do all that, too. They just add that banana at the end.
They say, this Howler Head whisky, it’s good for mixing. You can drink it by itself, but they say it’s good in cocktails. I don’t know what kind of cocktails you’d make with banana whisky. Sounds kinda strange to me. Maybe with some juice, or soda. I don’t know. Young people like that sort of thing. I’ll stick to my plain old whisky, thank you very much.
If you like sweet stuff, you might like this Howler Head. If you like banana, you might like it, too. It’s definitely different. I ain’t never tasted anything like it. But it ain’t for me. I like my whisky to taste like whisky. Not like fruit. This Howler Head Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey with natural banana flavor, that’s a mouthful, ain’t it? I reckon that’s why they just call it Howler Head.
Well, I’ve said my piece about this Howler Head whisky. It ain’t nothin’ special, just whisky with banana. If you like that sort of thing, go ahead and try it. But don’t expect it to be some kind of miracle drink. It’s just whisky. With banana. Don’t forget that. I sure won’t. I see that monkey on the bottle, and I’ll know. It’s that banana whisky. Howler Head. That’s what they call it. Remember that when you want to buy some drinks.
Nowadays, there are many kind of drinks, especially whisky, I can not tell the difference between them. This Howler Head, maybe a good whisky, but I don’t like it. Too sweet, you know. They put too much sugar in it, just like that peanut butter whisky. If you are looking for some sweet drink, Howler Head whisky is your choice. I know some people like it, but not for me.
