Okay, so I wanted to get traded in MLB The Show 24, and let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be. Here’s how I finally managed to do it, hopefully it helps someone else out there.
Start Grinding
First, I created my player in Road to the Shows. Made sure I had some decent stats, you know? You can’t be a nobody and expect to get traded to a good team. I focused on improving my player’s hitting and fielding. It took a while, and a lot of games, but I got my overall rating up.
Simulate and Check-in
I started simulating some games, checking in every few weeks in-game to see if anything was happening. I specifically looked at the “Trade Rumors” section, to see if my team needs a specific position filled. If they have a team need that I can fulfill, It would be more likely for them to want my player. I also paid attention to my agent’s messages – sometimes he’d give hints about potential trades.
Request the Trade
- I waited until I felt like my player was good enough.
- Then, I went to the “My Player” menu.
- Found the “Request Trade” option.
- Selected teams in the “Trade Rumors” that need a player like me.
- Confirmed!
More Waiting…
After requesting, it was more waiting. Seriously, a lot of simulating and checking. I did notice that my performance in games seemed to matter. When I played well, I felt like my trade value went up. Finally, after what felt like forever, boom! Trade offer.
Accept or Decline
I got a couple of offers, actually. Some were terrible, so I declined those. I was holding out for a team I actually wanted to play for. Finally, the right offer came in, and I accepted it. And that was it! Traded and ready to go.
The whole process was a bit of a grind, honestly. Lots of simulating, checking menus, and just waiting. But, it’s doable. Just be patient, keep improving your player, and pay attention to the trade rumors. Good luck!
