Okay, so, about those walking mausoleums in Elden Ring. I had a little adventure with them the other day, and let me tell you, it was quite a trip.
First off, I learned that there are seven of these things in total. When I just started, I bumped into the first one near the lake. It’s huge, slow, and looks like a walking rock. They’re called “Walking Mausoleums”. They’re massive, stone-like structures, and they just stroll around the Lands Between. Five of them have these bells, and two don’t. I found out the ones with bells let you duplicate any kind of Remembrance, while the ones without bells only do the non-shard bearer ones.
How did I deal with them?
- Found the Mausoleums: I rode around on my horse, Torrent, and found these giant, walking things.
- Looked for White Skulls: The first one I saw had these white skull things on its legs. I got close and started hitting them with my sword. It was like chipping away at a giant’s ankles, but made of stone. It was a bit tricky, but it worked.
- Jumped on one without Skulls: The next one I found didn’t have skulls on its legs, so I had to get creative. I used Torrent to jump from a high place, and landed right on top of it! It was pretty cool, felt like a real adventurer.
- Entered and Duplicated: Once I got them to stop, I went inside. There’s this altar thing where you can duplicate Remembrances. I didn’t even need to have the Remembrance with me. I just went to the altar, and boom, duplication! I tried it with one I had used before, and it still worked.
So yeah, that’s my story about the walking mausoleums. It was a fun little challenge, figuring out how to stop them and then getting to duplicate those Remembrances. I managed to duplicate a few, but I heard there are only so many coffins and way more Remembrances, so you have to choose wisely. But all in all, a pretty cool experience. I felt like a real explorer, figuring out all these secrets in Elden Ring.
And that’s my little adventure. Hope you guys find it helpful. Game on!
