Alright, so I was super pumped to get my hands on College Football 25, just like a lot of you guys, I’m sure. But before I could even think about hitting the field, I realized I had to make sure my console had enough space for this beast of a game. So, I figured I’d share my little adventure of figuring out just how much storage College Football 25 actually takes up.
First thing I did was fire up my console, and went to check my storage situation. I had a decent amount left, but I wasn’t taking any chances. You know how it goes – you think you have enough space, and then BAM! You’re scrambling to delete old games or videos just to make room. Not this time, I thought.
So, I went to check the game’s details. I mean, it’s 2023, these games are getting huge! I figured this one would be a hefty download, especially with all the hype and the graphics we’ve seen in the trailers. And, of course, it wasn’t a small download size.
Here’s the breakdown of what I found:
- For PlayStation 5, the game takes up around 50.48 GB.
- And for Xbox Series XS, it’s roughly 49.4 GB.
My thoughts?
Honestly, it’s pretty much what I expected. These next-gen games always need a good chunk of space. I ended up clearing out a couple of old games I hadn’t touched in ages. No biggie. Better safe than sorry, right? I just didn’t want to have to deal with deleting stuff later when I’m in the middle of building my dynasty.
So, there you have it. That’s my little journey into the storage requirements of College Football 25. Hope this helps some of you guys out when you’re prepping to download this bad boy. Game on!
