Okay, so, I was trying to get into Helldivers 2 the other day, and I kept running into this error code: 10002038. It was a real pain in the ass.
At first, I thought, “What the hell is going on?” I mean, I just wanted to play the game. I tried restarting the game a few times, but that didn’t do anything. I tried to join my friends games, that also didn’t work. The error kept popping up, telling me the connection failed.
So I was thinking about it, maybe there were too many people trying to play at once, and the servers were overloaded or something? Or maybe they were doing some kind of maintenance? That seemed like a real possibility, because usually when this many people have issues, it’s a server thing.
I went to check online, and saw some people were saying the same thing. Seems like this error usually happens when the game’s servers are having problems.
Here’s the thing: there’s not really a way to fix it yourself.
- I tried waiting a bit.
- I tried again later.
- Still got the error.
I guess I just have to wait it out. It’s frustrating, but what can you do? Hopefully, the developers will get it sorted out soon.
Eventually, after waiting for a few hours, I tried launching the game again.
Boom! It finally worked.
So, I guess the lesson here is, if you see error code 10002038 in Helldivers 2, it’s probably not your fault. Just be patient and give it some time.
