Okay, so, I had to deal with this thing called “Gray Zone Invaders from Afar”. Sounds fancy, right? But it was basically just clearing out some bad guys who had taken over a sawmill. I’ve been to that sawmill before for some other tasks, so I kind of knew the area a bit. This was not my first rodeo, as they say.
First things first, I headed to the sawmill. I remembered it pretty clearly from the last time I was there, dealing with that “When A Tree Falls” mission. It was a bit of a mess, but I got it done. Anyway, this time, the place was crawling with this hostile group. I had to be sneaky, get in there, and figure out who these guys were. You know, get their identities and all that jazz.
Recon and Elimination
I started by doing a bit of recon. I mean, who just jumps in without looking, right? I scoped out the place, found some good vantage points, and made a mental note of where everyone was. You gotta know the lay of the land, especially when dealing with a bunch of unknowns.
- Approach from the south: The south side seemed less guarded. I figured I could get a good view from there without being spotted right away.
- Find the leader: There’s always a head honcho, right? I figured if I could identify and take out the leader, the rest would be easier to handle.
- Gather intel: I needed to find some documents or something that could tell me who these guys were and why they were there.
Once I had a plan, I moved in. I stuck to the shadows, used cover, and made sure I didn’t make too much noise. I took out a few guys quietly, one by one. It’s all about being patient and waiting for the right moment, you know? I tried to avoid direct confrontation as much as possible.
Identifying the Invaders
After dealing with a few of them, I finally found some documents in what looked like their main area. These papers had names, affiliations, the usual stuff. Turns out, these guys were part of some group known for causing trouble in the Upper Silesian Coal Basin. I also found out they had ties to Gray County. Looks like I hit the jackpot in terms of intel.
With the intel in hand and most of the hostiles dealt with, I cleared the remaining area. It wasn’t too tough since I had already taken out a good chunk of them and found their leader. I made sure to do a final sweep of the sawmill to make sure no one was left, and that was that.
Mission accomplished. I reported back with the information I found, and now it’s up to the higher-ups to decide what to do with it. Another day, another bunch of bad guys dealt with. Just another walk in the park, really.
I just shared my * someone will find it useful one day, who knows.
