Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at Monopoly Go, and I wanted to share my experience with the “Tax Refund” event. I started by opening the app, ready to roll some dice and hopefully make some progress.

Getting Started
First things first, I logged into the game. I made sure I had enough dice rolls to actually participate. I’ve been burned before, starting an event with only a few rolls and getting nowhere. Not this time! I had a decent stash saved up.
The Grind
I started rolling, aiming to land on those glorious tax and utility spaces. It’s always a bit of a gamble, right? Sometimes you hit them constantly, other times you just keep circling the board, landing on everything but what you need.
- I landed on a few Chance spaces, which was a mixed bag. Some gave me a little boost, others sent me straight to jail (ugh!).
- Community Chest was pretty generous this time around. I got some extra cash, which always helps.
- I noticed that when I was close, I kept getting drawn to the tax tiles.
Strategy (or Lack Thereof)
Honestly, my “strategy” was mostly just to keep rolling and hope for the best. I did try to use the higher multipliers when I had a good feeling, but it’s Monopoly Go – luck plays a huge part!
When the dice rolls were mulitplied, that helped a lot.
Hitting Milestones
Slowly but surely, I started hitting those milestones. It’s such a satisfying feeling to see the progress bar fill up and claim those rewards. I got some extra dice rolls, some cash, and even a few of those sticker packs. Those are always a gamble, but hey, who doesn’t love the thrill of opening them?

Final Push
I was getting close to finishing a few of the bigger milestones, so I kept pushing. I even used a few of those dice roll boosts I’d been hoarding. It was worth it! I managed to complete a good chunk of the event, more than I expected at the start.
Wrap-Up
Overall, it was a pretty successful Tax Refund event for me. I collected a bunch of rewards, made some good progress, and had fun doing it. Now, I’m just waiting for the next event to start so I can do it all over again! Hope this helps show how I went after it. You have to really grind!
